The book for August is Between The World and Me, a 2015 book written by Ta-nehisi Coates. It is written as a letter to the author's teenaged son about the feelings, symbolism, and realities associated with being black in the United States.

Thursday August 10 at 2:00 in the Silver Spring Library. The book will be available for checkout on the library reserve shelf in advance of the book group discussion. RSVP not required and all are welcome.
