DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to announce a very special SPARKLE event: Treasure Behind the Stove with Storyteller Noa Baum  Join us to connect with ancient wisdom and timeless values in this special spoken word performance where personal and traditional stories connect in unexpected ways. With delightful drama and daring\, internationally acclaimed storyteller and author Noa Baum offers us gems from her trove of family stories and rich Jewish heritage. \nAbout Noa Baum:  Storytelling is the intersection of my work as a performance artist\, author\, and educator. I focus on the transformative power of storytelling both as performance art and an applicable tool to heal across differences and build bridges of understanding\, compassion and peace.  My art form can be described as Performance Storytelling – borrowing from principles of traditional storytelling as well as using tools from theater through the mixing of narration and characterization to evoke a story in the audiences’ imagination. I love connecting with people of all ages and backgrounds through stories. I enjoy telling stories from cultures around the world as well as my Jewish heritage. I use stories to promote appreciation of differences\, foster collaboration\, and spark innovation. I love witnessing the shift in attitude and smiles as workshop participants experience the transformative power of story. But most rewarding is when people come up after a presentation to share their story with me: “That reminded me of a story …”\, then I know my work has reached the most important place – their heart. \nSPARKLE programs are open to the public.  Registration is encouraged. DESCRIPTION:Easy to learn and constantly keeps you on your toes!! Come join us on Zoom and the Rummikub App.\nYou will need the following: \n\nThe Original Rummikub app – by Kinkajoo (Its icon is the black Joker-face tile)\n\nYou will need to download the app to an iPad\, iPhone\, Android phone or Android tablet to play. (NOTE: the app is not available on Windows computers). \nWhen you create your Player Name on the app\, we recommend that you start your name with SSV\, so all our SSV players will be easy to find. (For example: my name is SSVCecilia) \n\nA Facebook account to connect to other SSV players. – All SSV players will have to friend each other on Facebook\nWe highly recommend a separate device to access the Zoom.\n\nWe plan to all get together via Zoom\, starting at 4 pm on Wednesdays. Then we’ll go into separate Zoom -Break Out Rooms for each group (of 2\, 3 or 4 players) depending on who is present and want to play together. We typically keep the Zoom going so we can talk while we’re playing; more experienced players can give guidance\, etc. \nPlease sign up ASAP.
