DESCRIPTION:Back by popular demand! \nDo you\, like many of us\, have things that you haven’t used in ages\, but that seem “too good” to put in a Goodwill bag?  Think fish poacher\, cookie cutters\, costume jewelry\, serving bowl\, placemats\, yoga mat\, board game\, etc.\, etc. \nOur swap meet will be a fun social event where everybody brings a few things that deserve a new owner and everybody has a chance to go home with something “new.” No money will be exchanged. \n“Rules”: \n\nRegistration (by Aug. 3) is necessary\, as space will be limited.\nDrop off your items prior to Aug. 9. Please call the Event Contact to schedule or if you need help with delivery\nAll participants should bring at least 2 — and not more than 5 – items.\nItems of (almost) all types are fine\, but they must be small and light enough for you\, and the potential recipient\, to carry. Please do not bring clothes or shoes.\nItems must be in excellent\, “like-new” condition.\nEveryone will have the chance to claim several items. The fun starts when more than one person wants the same item!\nDo not bring anything that you want to keep! At the end of our event\, any unclaimed items will be donated.\n\nThe idea is that your kitchen gadget\, earrings you haven’t worn in a decade\, or whatever will go home with a Village friend who is actually happy to have it (or who might know somebody for whom it would make a nice gift). \nRegister by November 16 via the Village website calendar\, by emailing programs@silverspringvillage.org\, or by phoning the Village at 240-307-4132.
