SUMMARY:UMD & Village Mindfulness Group
DESCRIPTION:Student volunteers from the Mindfulness Society at the University of Maryland lead a free\, 45-minute online session each week. Most of the student leaders are pursuing pre-medical or other pre-health studies\, and the faculty-sponsored organization has been offering intergenerational mindfulness sessions since 2024. \nEach gathering will include a guided breathing exercise\, friendly group conversation\, and calming guided meditation. No experience is needed\, and there is no long-term commitment.
