What is this?
On Wednesday November 17 a small group of Village members will visit the American Visionary Art Museum, 800 Key Highway in Baltimore. Visionary Art refers to art produced by self-taught individuals, usually without formal training, whose works arise from an innate personal vision that revels foremost in the creative act itself. Visionary art begins by listening to the inner voices of the soul, and often may not have been thought of as 'art' by its creator.
Village member Sandy Morris will organize up to two carloads of four members each. Timed museum tickets, $13.95 each, must be purchased by each participant directly from the museum once the group is organized -- contact Sandy for details. Parking is available on streets near the museum.
Contact Sandy with questions and to register for this visit. Sandy will arrange carpools and tell you when to buy your tickets.
