The Afternoon Book Group will be held online monthly as a Zoom event. Contact Sarah Letnes at scletnes@gmail.com to find out the book selection for each month, how to obtain the book from the Montgomery County Library's online site, and how to log onto the Zoom teleconference site for the group meeting to discuss the book.

The November book will be  American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Cultures of North America by Colin Woodard. The discussion will be hosted by Beth Kameras. 

The author describes eleven rival regional "nations" in the United States (Yankeedom, New Netherland, the Midlands, Tidewater, Greater Appalachia, the Deep South, New France, El Norte, the Left Coast, the Far West, and First Nation), and how these deep roots continue to influence our politics today.



The group will meet on the second Thursday of each month from 3:00m to 4:30pm. Zoom contact information:
