Ann leads the Agua Fund, a nonprofit foundation in Washington, DC, supporting environmental protection, voting rights, the rule of law, and social services for veterans and disadvantaged elderly in DC. Before her role at the Agua Fund, Ann served as the U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Under Secretary for Natural Resources and Environment. Her previous experience includes senior positions at American Rivers and roles in the U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, and the State of California. Ann holds an MPA from the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin, and a BA in political science from Tufts University. She has lived in Silver Spring since 1999.
