Del. Bernice Mireku-North, Esq.

Delegate Bernice Mireku-North has represented Maryland Legislative District 14 since 2023. She is a member of the Ways and Means Committee, the Early Childhood Subcommittee, and the Local Revenues Subcommittee. She also manages The North Law Group, LLC, specializing in criminal defense, family law, wills and trusts, and business litigation in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Bernice played a key role in developing Silver Spring Village as a former chair of the Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board. She also co-chaired the Reimagining Public Safety Task Force. She holds a JD from Howard University School of Law and a BA in government and politics from the University of Maryland. Bernice lives in the Fairland area of Silver Spring with her family.
