Strathmore Mansion honors its 40th anniversary of the Afternoon Tea Program. Artists will present “Steeped” works that reflect on the tastes, scents, traditions, and emotions that surround tea and teatime. From artworks created with actual tea to vessels designed for serving it, submissions across all media and styles will be shown.Whether enjoyed as a quiet morning ritual or shared with friends at day’s end, tea has long been a source of comfort and connection. This beverage carries a rich history spanning thousands of years and cultures.
