Join us for a new series of activities within the Village! Cecilia de Kanga will be our leader as we bring out the artist inside of us with the Zentangle Method, an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles. You create tangles with combinations of dots, lines, simple curves, S-curves and orbs. These simple shapes are the “Elemental Strokes” in all Zentangle art. These patterns are drawn on small pieces of paper called “tiles.” They are called tiles because you can assemble them into mosaics.
We have made a deal with Arts on the Block to use their space pro bono. There is a non-obligatory donation suggestion of $10 per attendee to Arts on the Block and a required $10 fee per member for materials for the group.
