Natl Museum of Women in the Arts

The Village Daytrippers have scheduled a trip to the National Museum of Women in the Arts on Sunday March 2nd. Admission is free on the first Sunday of each month, so we thought we’d try this date. For those who wish to travel together, we will plan to take the Metro to the nearest stop, which is Metro Center, on the Red Line. We will meet at 12:30 pm at the main entrance of the Silver Spring Metro and take the Metro downtown. For those who wish to drive, we will meet at the museum at 1:00 pm. After visiting the museum, we will plan to have tea at the museum cafe if it’s open or at a nearby restaurant at 3:30 pm. More on this as we get closer to the date. This activity will require a moderate level of activity including the ability to independently navigate the Metro, walk a few blocks and climb stairs.
