Silver Spring Village’s in-person book club will meet on the fourth Thursday afternoon of each month at the Brig. General Charles McGee Library at 900 Wayne Avenue. People planning to attend the book group can borrow the book (or electronic version) from the library. All are welcome.
The March book will be Yellowface, by R.F. Kuang. Yellowface grapples with questions of diversity, racism, and cultural appropriation, as well as the terrifying alienation of social media. R.F. Kuang’s novel is timely, razor-sharp, and eminently readable.
