Cheryl Gardner, D.B.A.

Cheryl brings over 25 years of consulting experience in organizational research, program evaluation, and diversity initiatives. Prior to this, she spent two decades in corporate management including as vice president of a consulting systems-integration firm. Cheryl also taught as an adjunct professor at The George Washington University and Georgetown University. Her dedication to community involvement is reflected in her service on the Alumnae Association Board of Smith College and on the advisory board of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology, where she advocated for diversity in science careers. Cheryl holds a DBA from The George Washington University, and MBA from the University of Southern California, and a BA in economics from Smith College. She has served as the Village’s vice president and has led the Village’s member and volunteer survey processes. Cheryl has lived in Silver Spring since 1976 and has been a Village member since 2018.
