Darren Vieira, J.D.

Darren is an attorney with over 20 years of experience in the government and in private practice involving the regulation of securities broker-dealers and security-based swap dealers.  Darren was previously an investment adviser representative serving corporate, nonprofit, and high-net worth individual clients.  Darren has a JD from Georgetown University, a BS in economics and finance from Bentley University, and is a CFA charter holder.  In addition to serving on the board and Finance Committee for Silver Spring Village, Darren has served as treasurer, board member, and treasury volunteer for other community nonprofit organizations.  Darren was inspired to join Silver Spring Village after learning about the organization from its members and recalling how much his own grandmother would have benefited from a similar supportive community as she aged.
