Joe has dedicated the past decade to public service at the Department of Defense and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, focusing on counterintelligence and counterterrorism. Recognized for his service, he has received awards such as the Excellence in Leadership award. Joe serves on the Montgomery County Commission on Landlord-Tenant Affairs and volunteers with local nonprofits. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Joe stepped up as a volunteer with the Village, organizing food donations and deliveries to aid unhoused individuals in Silver Spring. He has lived in Silver Spring home since 2018.
