Peggy Gervasi

Peggy became the Village’s operations manager in October 2024. In this capacity, she handles bookkeeping, database management, member services, technology, and communications. She has been a part of Silver Spring Village since its launch in 2013 and served on the board of directors as president, vice president, and secretary from 2014 to 2020. She now serves on the Governance Committee. Born and raised in Montgomery County and Chevy Chase, DC, she attended the Academy of the Holy Cross and the University of Maryland (BS, architecture). She retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2012 as the agency’s manager of strategic planning. She was a care partner to her husband of 35 years during his experience with Alzheimer’s disease and has a far-flung family of five children and ten grandchildren. In addition to her neighborhood of Forest Glen Park, Peggy enjoys architecture, movies, travel, sailing, bridge, and especially eating and drinking with friends.
