Sue has a rich background in the telecommunications industry, focusing on strategic planning, budgeting, and financial operations. Before that, she worked as an economist in various Federal agencies and taught economics at Montgomery College. Dedicated to her community, Sue has served on the Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board and the Montgomery County Consumer Protection Advisory Committee. She is the Village’s immediate past president and has also served as its treasurer. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from the University of Maryland and completed Senior Leadership Montgomery in 2014. Sue has lived in Silver Spring since 1982.
